We are delighted to announce the appointment of Amanda Cunningham as our new Chief Executive Officer.
A truly inspiring leader, Amanda joins Horizon from her role as Group Chief Executive officer for Marton Care and Burlington Care Homes. She brings with her a wealth of experience in residential care, complex care services and enduring mental health.
Having trained as an LD nurse, Amanda has over 37 years health care experience within both the NHS and private sector. From caring for children to working with the elderly, her passion for supporting those with complex needs shines through, and we are excited to see that passion manifest itself within Horizon, as we work to create bright futures for young lives.
Amanda says “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to join a team as capable and competent as Horizon; and honoured to be able to lead the next steps of this exciting journey. Collectively, we are looking forward to the positive challenge of further developing who we are and what we do, with the lives of the young people at the centre of it all.”
