Horizon Care and Education have an exciting opportunity for an SEN Teacher to join our fantastic team at our Woodbury School based in Wolverhampton.

We are looking for a teacher who can teach DT to students with varying SEN and SEMH needs as well as other subjects. The job role will be varied and interesting with a specialist DT classroom available.

Woodbury school is dedicated to providing pupils aged 8 to 18 years with a high quality and individualised learning environment. The school provides opportunities to access learning that is tailored to their needs, whilst developing their self-esteem as they reach milestones in our caring and nurturing setting

Minimum requirements:

• QTS or QTLS Qualifications
• Have proven teaching and learning experience.
• Have up to date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience.

The ideal candidate should:

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
• Have the energy, passion, and drive to raise standard.
• Have initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills.
• Ideally have experience of working with students with SEMH and additional needs
