Horizon Care and Education have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant at Aspire Learning in Croydon!

Aspire Learning is an independent primary school. We provide inspirational, nurture-based specialist SEND education to pupils aged 5 - 11 years old and are now looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team.

Due to recent acquisitions, we are now searching for TAs with experience working with children aged 5-11 with ASC and speech, language and communication needs. TAs will need to have experience working with pre-verbal ASC pupils and supporting with development of communication skills using approaches such as PECS, Makaton, Attention Autism, TEACCH. Some pupils will require an element of personal care and support.

About the role:

As a Teaching Assistant at Aspire Learning you will work with a range of young people between ages 5 and 11, and support them to achieve a positive learning outcome, regardless of the challenges they face.
