What an exciting day we had at Woodbury! We celebrated World Culture Diversity Day, and it was truly a remarkable event. Our guest speaker arranged by our amazing teacher Alison Mayne. Dr Hakeem Bakare from Interfaith Wolverhampton captivated the audience with his insights on the importance of embracing diversity in our communities. His engaging presentation not only informed us about different cultures but also highlighted the significance of understanding and respecting one another.
The assembly was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to learn and share their own experiences. As Dr Bakare spoke, it was clear that diversity is not just a buzzword; it’s a vital part of who we are as a school and as a society. With vibrant stories and lively discussions, we all left feeling more connected and appreciative of the rich tapestry of cultures that surround us. Here’s to celebrating our differences and fostering unity at Woodbury!
