“Pupils who have found it hard to cope in other schools get a second chance at this school. Leaders and staff help them to believe in themselves and what they can do.”
We are pleased that, following a recent Ofsted inspection at Woodbury, the school has be graded ‘Good’, alongside some lovely feedback and observations from the visitors.
“New leadership is already making its mark. Leaders have found out about the school’s existing strengths and are building on these. Furthermore, they have brought new ideas about the curriculum, and have ambitions to increase the range of qualifications on offer.”
Headteacher Ed Barnes, said “The team at Woodbury School are delighted to have received a Good Ofsted grading. I’m proud to work alongside colleagues who are committed to supporting the young people to shine. With continued improvements, we are excited to see our students achieve the very best they can.”
Dom Cook, Horizon’s Education Operations Director, added “This report is testament to the positive impact the Ed and his team have had at Woodbury. With such compassionate and inspiring colleagues working together to support their students and each other, Woodbury continues to go from strength to strength. Well done, Team Woodbury!”
