Woodbury School is proud to share the inspiring partnership between our community initiative, RobinWood, and Communitree – a venture dedicated to supporting people experiencing homelessness and hardship.
RobinWood was launched by Woodbury School as a way to give back to the community, helping our pupils understand the importance of compassion, service, and social responsibility. Communitree shares these values, and together we’ve formed a partnership rooted in kindness and positive action.
Most recently, RobinWood and Communitree came together in Wolverhampton to host a heartwarming charity event supporting local people in need. Pupils from Woodbury prepared hot meals – curry and rice – during their food technology lessons, which were then served with care and pride by staff, volunteers, and Chef Robinson. Alongside the meals, essential clothing was also distributed.
The event was a wonderful demonstration of what can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose. It gave our pupils a meaningful opportunity to contribute and reminded us all of the impact small acts of kindness can have.
With RobinWood and Communitree continuing to work together, we are committed to helping create a more compassionate and inclusive community – in Wolverhampton and beyond.
