What a fantastic day we had during our Autism Awareness assembly, delivered by our incredible SENCO, Julie! The atmosphere was electric as pupils settled in, eager to learn and share. Julie’s engaging presentation was filled with informative insights and personal anecdotes, which really resonated with everyone.
The best part? The pupils’ active participation! It was heartwarming to see them share their thoughts and feelings on autism, fostering an environment of understanding and compassion. They asked questions, made connections, and even shared stories about their own experiences.
These kinds of discussions are so vital in cultivating empathy and awareness among our students. It’s wonderful to see our school community rally together to support one another. A huge thank you to Julie for her hard work and dedication in making this assembly a success. Let’s keep the conversation going and continue to build an inclusive environment for all!
