Moore House is a large, detached house just a stone’s throw from Markeaton Park in Derby. Our young people can relax in the comfortable lounge, where we can have lots of movie nights. Or if you’d rather build a fort or play games – well, we’d love that too.

We have a games room, with plenty of games to choose from, or it can be used as a space to simply chill out, watch tv, and look out over the gorgeous garden. The back garden boasts a beautiful lawn area to play games, splash in the paddling pool, or relax with a picnic. The patio is perfect for some al fresco dining, or a barbeque when the weather is kind to us.

We’re only a short drive into the city centre where there are plenty of things to keep the young people entertained – paintballing, go-karting, swimming, shopping, the cinema and going for walks around the local landmarks.

Our team is made up of caring, skilled, and dedicated colleagues from all walks of life. We work hard to support and care for the young people, taking into consideration their wishes, feelings and needs. You’ll find us spending time getting to know every young person to tailor their care as individuals. We work therapeutically with the young people at Moore House, intertwining our therapeutic approach throughout the home and in everything we do. Together we create a homely atmosphere filled with laughter, care and memories to treasure.
