Ivy House is a large house with patio areas to both sides of the home offering recreation and play areas. There are a number of rooms that provide ample space for recreation, education, leisure pursuits and activities. Books and magazines, a computer, television, DVD player and DVDs, a range of board games, and materials for artistic and creative pursuits are all provided. There is also a large kitchen with a large dining table in the centre, so that everyone can sit and eat meals together.

The house provides residential accommodation for 3 young people, both male and female, each with a single room of their own. On admission the young people are encouraged to personalise their bedroom to their taste. The accommodation provides facilities for young people to make private phone calls, see visitors and to have contact in a safe setting; this can be supervised if required.
