- The King’s Trust (formerly The Prince’s Trust): Our Employability programme helps students build confidence, develop workplace skills, and prepare for the world of work.
- Sandwell Connexions: Expert guidance and advice to help students make realistic and informed career choices.
Skills for Life:
- Skills Builder Programme: Supports students in developing essential personal and professional skills like communication, teamwork, and leadership.
- Morrsiby: Supports the students with activities and questionnaires to assess their skills and future aspirations, this gives them links and support to guide them through their careers choices and workshops to develop skills needed for interviews, CV writing and personal development.
Real-World Experience
- Offsite Training & Work Placements: Delivered through a range of community agencies and local partnerships to provide hands-on learning opportunities.
- College Visits & Careers Fairs: Held throughout the year to expose students to a wide variety of pathways, industries, and further education providers.
- Other Agencies: links with outside agencies, colleges, employers to extend the exposure for students to support their own aspirations.
Support for Families
- We actively involve parents and carers in the career planning process. We encourage 1:1 meetings with our Careers Lead and Connexions staff to discuss your child’s future plans, next steps, and available support for yourself and the young person.
