Careers Education at Olympus

Your Future, Your Journey – Start Here

At Olympus, we believe every student deserves the tools, guidance, and confidence to shape their future. Our Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme is dynamic, inclusive, and embedded across every year group. Our belief is that Careers Education should start at the earliest opportunity to allow students enough time to make an informed and meaningful decision on their future.

What You Can Expect

Morrisby Careers Platform
Interactive online assessments match students’ strengths and interests with real-world career options. Includes access to personalised action plans and Labour Market Information (LMI).

Skills Builder Framework
We explicitly teach essential employability skills: teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, creativity, and more – reinforced across the curriculum and during dedicated Skills Builder Challenge Days.

Independent Careers Advice
All students receive 1:1 guidance from a qualified Careers Advisor. These sessions help students make confident, informed choices at every transition point.

Employer Engagement
Guest speakers, workplace visits, career fairs, and mock interviews offer students real insight into diverse industries and pathways.

Post-16 and Post-18 Preparation
We support applications for college, apprenticeships, internships and employment. Workshops on CV writing, interviews, and personal statements are built into our offer.

Your Personal Career Roadmap
At Olympus, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all careers education. Every student builds a personalised career roadmap, tailored to their strengths, interests, aspirations, and evolving goals.

Using tools like Morrisby, 1:1 guidance interviews, and Skills Builder progress tracking, students co-design a career pathway that’s flexible, meaningful, and achievable. Whether you’re aiming for college, a creative career, a trade, or an apprenticeship, we help you chart the course step-by-step.

Your roadmap isn’t just a document – it’s a live journey. It grows with you.

Employers and Partners

At Olympus, we are proud to work closely with employers to help shape the future workforce. Your involvement plays a crucial role in preparing our students for life beyond school by offering real-world insights, practical experiences, and inspiration. Whether through work placements, career talks, mentoring, or mock interviews, your support helps young people understand the skills and attitudes needed for success in the workplace.

We are always looking to build meaningful partnerships with employers across all industries. By working together, we can bridge the gap between education and employment, ensuring students are informed, motivated, and ready to take on the opportunities ahead. If you would like to get in touch, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the school careers team.
