We’re proud to share the news that Draycott Moor College has retained its ‘Good’ judgement from Ofsted following our latest inspection, which took place from in May 2025.
This outcome is a testament to the dedication, passion and hard work of our entire school community – students, staff and families alike. We’re delighted that the commitment and care that goes into making Draycott Moor College a nurturing, supportive and high-quality educational environment has been recognised once again.
The inspection team highlighted a number of strengths, including:
· “Draycott Moor College is a small school with an enormous heart.”
· “The school is a calm, orderly and welcoming environment, full of happy, smiling staff and pupils.”
· “Pupils thrive here because of the level of care and support they receive.”
· “Staff take time to understand pupils. They understand their needs and ambitions. This was illustrated beautifully by one pupil telling inspectors, ‘I like it here because this school knows me.’”
· “Staff are very knowledgeable about how to help pupils understand and improve their behaviour.”
· “Staff are listened to and heard, being active contributors to the continuing development of this exciting school.”
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the inspection process – especially the students, parents and colleagues who shared their views and experiences with inspectors.
