Horizon Care is one of the most innovative providers of young people’s residential care in the UK. We care for vulnerable young people with complex needs, who can be behaviourally challenging. We are looking for a member’s of staff to work with our ‘teams around the children’.
The two homes we are recruiting for cater for young people with learning disability/Autism and often present complex behaviours related to their diagnosis. All individual needs are met within the home and this may include personal care. We are seeking staff who are keen to learn about how and why behaviours occur, and who wish to make a difference in the lives of young people and their families.
If you want to make a difference, have a calm approach and thrive on working as part of a small team then we would like to hear from you.
Ideally you should have experience of working in residential care, although other relevant experience will be considered.
Successful applicants are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide satisfactory references. Disclosure expense will be met by employer.
